The Sonnenalp is looking for a Part timeBarista for our Treff Caf Wage1700 plus tips Typical ScheduleMust be able to work weekends & holidays Primary Purpose of Position The Treff Cafbarista bartender is responsible for exceptional guest service This will include all aspects of great customer service order input preparation delivery and payment processing The Barista will need to be able to prioritize and manage time correctly They will work the register prepare menu items and keep the caf clean and well stocked for service throughout the entire shift They will be responsible for correct cash handling and daily check outs The position requires working closely with a high volume of demanding clientele and other staff The Barista must not only be congenial but able to appropriately deal with customers and fellow workers At all times the barista is expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome comfortable important and relaxed Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set Treff Caffor business responsible for all assigned opening closing and weekly side work dutiesPrepare room for service Make sure condiments are refilled perform all other preparation taskHave knowledge of all menu items and ingredients and answer guest questions about food and drinksStay updated on current menu choices specialties and menu deviationsInform guests off food and drink specialsMake suggestions and recommend optionsServe food and drink while creating a professional and caring relationship with customersAssist guests with to go orders or serve to tables in and outsideGreat all guests warmly with an appearance standards consistentlyFill in for absent staff as neededPerform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisorKeep a safe and clean working environment for staff as well as guestsHave knowledge of the hotel and be able to cross sell various departments and activitiesAdhere to grooming and appearance standards consistentlyAdhere to LHW standards at all timesParticipate in related F&B training programs such as coffee training and liquorwine training as neededAct as a responsible personable representative of the Sonnenalp teamEducationExperience One year of barista experience preferredTIPS certification preferred and required once employedMust be over the age of 18Special SkillsEquipment Excellent guest service skillsPersonable disposition which is maintained in high pressure situations requiredStrong organizational skills requiredCommon sense of urgency requiredShould be prepared to work long hours and variable schedule to include holidays and weekendEnglish fluency requiredEssential Physical Requirements Position primarily performed indoors assisting a variety of guestsWorking conditions will vary with season; high traffic during peak season medium traffic during off seasonAbility to regularly carry up to 40 lbsShould be prepared to work long hours and able to stand for an extended timeBenefits Resort DiscountsHoliday Pay & Sick Pay401k Retirement Plan & Roth 401k After one year and 1000 hours workedEmployee Assistance ProgramParking Credit or Discounted Bus PassesEmployee Meal
