A vacancy exists for the position of Custodian within the Half Hollow Hills School District Facilities Department. The opening is located at High School East. The hours are 6:00a.m. - 2:30p.m., with both the building and hours subject to change based on the discretion and best interest of the school district. The successful candidate will be expected to work overtime, as needed.

Eligible candidate's background, experience and requirements of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Must have a valid driver's license in good standing
• Knowledge of and experience in:
• Maintaining a safe and sanitary environment
• Performing building maintenance and equipment repairs
• Responding to immediate safety and/or operational concerns (i.e. facility damage, vandalism, alarms, etc.) for the purposes of taking appropriate action or notifying appropriate personnel for resolution
• Performing other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
• The use and care of all custodial equipment
