Responsibilities: Wash and properly store all cooking utensils, dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing machine, dishwashing area, and surrounding workspaces. Sweep and mop kitchen floors and remove trash and recyclables as needed. Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen work areas, storage areas, and equipment. Follow proper procedures for the use and storage of cleaning chemicals. Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations and equipment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards. Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic tasks as needed (e.g., moving equipment, stocking supplies). Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor. Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods. Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices in a kitchen environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
