Position Summary
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Pastry Chef de Partie with at least 5 years of professional experience to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in classic and contemporary pastry techniques and is passionate about creating high-quality desserts and baked goods. This role requires creativity, precision, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position will report directly to the Executive Chef of Pastry.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $25.84-$31.00 (per CBA).
Benefits are per the union agreement.
This position will remain open until September 1, 2025.
About the Venue
Allegiant Stadium is the technologically-advanced stadium that is the home of the Las Vegas Raiders NFL team and hosts world-class entertainment including concerts and special sporting events.
Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards
Develop new dessert concepts in collaboration with the pastry chef or executive chef
Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients with precision
Decorate and plate desserts for service, maintaining presentation standards
Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and proper storage at all times
Assist with Monitoring inventory levels and assist in ordering pastry supplies
Maintain equipment and tools in proper working condition
Train and mentor junior pastry staff as needed as directed by Executive Chef of Pastry
The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work an event driven schedule including nights and weekends per business need
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a pastry cook or in a similar pastry/baking role
Deep knowledge of pastry techniques, including laminated doughs, mousses, custards, and tempering chocolate
Strong eye for detail and artistic presentation
Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Team player with a strong work ethic
Possess valid SNHD food handling card
Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary or pastry school certification
Experience in high-end restaurants, hotels, or patisseries
Familiarity with dietary accommodations (gluten-free, vegan, etc.)
