Description
One of the strengths that sets The Bristal apart as a luxury assisted living community is our chef-prepared cuisine and the country club dining experience we provide three times a day. We are seeking a friendly, professional, organized and, above all, compassionate Lead Server with the kind, patient and cheerful spirit to deliver on that exceptional experience. You know the satisfied feeling you get at an upscale restaurant when the servers do an excellent job? In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all meals are served and presented in accordance with the guidelines established by the Director of Food Service. Helping the Dining Room Manager prepare work schedules for Dining Room personnel
Assigning waitstaff and bus staff to their stations on each shift
Ensuring all dining room systems are functional before, during and after meals
Monitoring food delivery, table satisfaction and bussing procedures continually
Maintaining safety standards at all times
Logging records of guest checks
Overseeing cleanliness of dining room and kitchen areas assigned to waitstaff
Participating in offsite events, holiday parties and special onsite events
Performing other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager or Director of Food Service
Must be able to work at least one weekend day per week (Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs).
