Jenices Events & Conference Center is seeking a reliable, personable, and proactive Onsite Event Support & Guest Services Associate to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring every event runs smoothly and every guest feels welcome. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized venue.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and guests upon arrival and provide excellent customer service throughout the event
Open and close the facility as needed; ensure all access protocols are followed
Monitor the event to ensure rules and policies are adhered to
Assist clients and vendors with setup and breakdown (tables, chairs, AV, signage, etc.)
Maintain cleanliness and order in all public and rental spaces throughout the event
Respond promptly to client or guest needs and resolve issues as they arise
Coordinate with preferred vendors and staff as needed to support event logistics
Ensure restrooms are stocked and common areas are tidy during events
Report any maintenance, safety, or security concerns to the Venue Manager
Perform basic post-event cleaning and reset of the space for the next use
Qualifications:
Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or events preferred
Professional, friendly, and calm under pressure
Able to lift and move tables, chairs, and supplies (up to 40 lbs.)
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
