Guest Relations Associate
Banesco USA is seeking a Guest Relations Associate for our Executive Office business unit.
Primary Job Duties:
- The Guest Relations Associate is the first point of contact for clients, vendors, postal workers, couriers and all other visitors who arrive at the headquarters building. The Guest Relations Associate will greet visitors, find effective and efficient solutions in order to assist them, including directing visitors to the appropriate bank employee in order to create a positive experience.
- Work with the banks Interdepartmental Mail. Process all incoming and outgoing Mail
- Will oversee the reception area and announce visitors to the appropriate person and maintain the waiting area stocked with any appropriate brochures, supply equipment, etc. Will promptly inform Facilities Department regarding any part of the lobby area that needs attention due to broken or missing materials.
- Provides general information and may answers questions to customers/visitors regarding banking services and policies.
- Answers bank telephone and directs calls or relays messages, as circumstances dictate. Follows up on minor customer problems.
- Will collaborate with the mailroom and act as liaison between the bank and postal carriers, private couriers, including South Florida Express, Federal Express, UPS, etc. to ensure that bank correspondence is both received and shipped out safely, effectively and efficiently.
- Will assist with duties related to distribution of mail and bank correspondence, deliveries and receipts of bank furniture and equipment.
- Performs some administrative and clerical duties, as needed, in order to assist the Operations Department.
- Responsible for completing the annual training program assigned.
- Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma and 2 years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be applicable to the financial industry.
- Intermediate knowledge of general accounting and related accounting and record keeping systems in a financial institution.
- Intermediate knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and Bank accounting policies and procedures.
- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to provide leadership, supervision and training for four or more employees using positive supervisory techniques to ensure maximum productivity; demonstrated ability in organization and delegation skills.
- Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; and word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
- Intermediate typing skills to meet production needs of the position.
- Intermediate math skills; calculate interest, balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
- Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to customers and employees.
- Ability to deal with non-complex problems involving standardized situations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work with no supervision while performing duties.
