Substitute Custodian

Position Type: On-Call Substitute Custodian (Swing Shift)

Location: Hermiston School District

Job Description: Hermiston School District is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for on-call custodial work during swing shift hours. This position performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties in school buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mop and wax floors

• Clean and sanitize restrooms

• Straighten desks and classrooms

• Pick up litter and clean school grounds

• Wash walls and perform general cleaning tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 months experience in cleaning and maintenance

• Ability to work as scheduled during swing shift hours

• Must be dependable and able to follow directions

Additional Information: On-call substitute custodians may be considered for full-time employment based on performance and district needs.
