Volt is immediately hiring a Maintenance Mechanic II - 2nd Shift in MINNETONKA, Minnesota As a Maintenance Mechanic II - 2nd Shift you will:Perform preventative, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, safety checks, repairs, installations, and modifications on production equipment.Record all maintenance repair activity on production equipment and fixtures using CMMS.Possess knowledge of and skill in repairing industrial machinesPossess knowledge of and experience in troubleshooting and repairing all production equipmentPossess knowledge of and experience in using small tools, micrometers, callipers, gauge pins, multimeters, etcCould understand and follow verbal and written proceduresCould read and understand drawings and electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematicsPossess knowledge of personal computer operations and skill in using software packages including Microsoft OfficeCould respond to and answer/solve technical questions and problemsTear down, inspect and rebuild production equipmentDiagnose PLC problems and take the appropriate corrective action to repairRequisition needed items for inventory, spare parts, and emergency repairsSupport 5S initiatives.
