This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: Kitchen Prep Cook position is responsible for prepping common itemsand ingredients for menu items consistently and quickly, as well aschecking and stocking the line frequently.**Kitchen Prep Responsibilities:**Follows a recipe book to prep produce, sauces, desserts etc.Practices safe food handling and cleanliness always.Prepare food prep and production recipes per the COLT Grill recipe book.Responsible for walk-in cleanliness and organization.Use and clean meat grinder.Cleans with chemicals while wearing gloves.Work may be fast-paced, and a high degree of quality and accuracy arerequired.Must maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extendedperiod.Must have strong knowledge of the menu.Have ability to accurately read, organize and prioritize.Ability to communicate with others to ensure accuracy.Able to adhere to schedule and be on time for shifts.Operate and participate effectively in a team environment**Physical Effort:**Lifting- up to 10lbs constantly, up to 50lbs infrequentlyLifting from floor to shoulder constantly and overhead infrequently.Exposed to cleaning chemicals.Grasps object(s) to move or manipulate them constantly.Stands and walks constantly.Listen to and comprehend instructions from Managers and co-workers overbackground restaurant and equipment noise constantly.Frequent hand washing required.
