Minimum Requirements
A high school diploma or its equivalent.
Applicants who meet the above requirements AND have an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university are preferred.

Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Office Manager, the Receptionist performs telephone answering duties and greets Law Department guests. In addition to the reception duties, the Receptionist will also perform some secretarial duties and data entry.
Overview
Duties
Answers the telephone and responds to inquiries, or directs the caller to appropriate staff.
Greets Law Department guests.
Opens mail and performs data entry for the Law Department Mail Logging system.
Performs general secretarial duties, including word processing and filing.
Enters data into Law Department systems including HighQ, OnBase, and JD Edwards as necessary.
Performs other duties as required by the Office Manager.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of
Standard office practices and procedures, including filing, record keeping, proofreading, etc.
Basic PC operations
Skill in
Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to
Operate standard office equipment including a personal computer, copier, fax machine, etc.
Communicate effectively orally and in writing
Work well with supervisors, co-workers, and guests
Maintain confidentiality
