Job Details The Stand is now hiring FOH positions: BartendersWe are a high volume comedy supper club located in the heart of Union Square, boasting an excellent food and beverage program while servicing 2 showrooms and 4+ shows on a given evening. Leading with care and rapidity are paramount for maintaining the guest experience in this comedy hotspot.
Our ideal candidate is friendly, out-going, and knowledgeable. A knowledge of classic cocktails, beer and spirits is a must. We value the hospitality driven employee, with skills in up-selling and creating a positive customer experience, while being able to perform in a high-volume, fast paced environment. We look for Bartenders that are truly driven to satisfy customer needs, in terms that they stay on top of the clientele at their tables. Some of the things we will look at are check averages and sales, so it is important you strive to be a good salesperson while providing our guests with a high level of hospitality.Requirements:
- 2+ years working in a similar caliber role in New York City
- 3+ days of availability, weekend and evening availability is a must
- Experience both in high end bars, and in high volume venues
- Advanced Knowledge in Beer, Wine, and Spirits, as well as pairing
