The Facilities Utility Worker is a hands-on-role responsible for day-to-day cleaning, upkeep, and light maintenance across three company-owned properties, including the BRG Main Office. This role supports the functionality, safety, and appearance of facilities by performing routine janitorial duties, basic repairs, yard maintenance, and seasonal exterior tasks.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESFacilities Cleaning & Upkeep
- Clean and sanitize offices, common areas, and restrooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as needed
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies
- Remove trash and recycling from designated areas
- Perform window and glass cleaning periodically
- Monitor and report facility needs or safety issues
General Maintenance & Support
- Conduct light repairs such as changing bulbs, tightening fixtures, or replacing filters
- Support minor building maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor or leads
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining tools, parts, and supply inventories
Groundskeeping & Exterior Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of exterior walkways, entrances, and parking areas
- Perform basic landscaping (watering, trimming, debris removal)
- Carry out seasonal duties, including leaf clearing
- Respond to general maintenance requests or facility-related tasks
- Provide support to the maintenance team during projects or emergencies

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years related experience
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Dependable, punctual and trustworthy
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Commercial cleaning experience preferred
- None
- Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by the weather including: snow, rain, heat, and sub-freezing temps; loud noise and fumes from gas, oil and grease
- Ability to work varied shifts to suit business needs
- Physically able to perform cleaning tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Must have the ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and reach.
