Rise Woodfire- San Mateo is a busy beautiful energetic 250 seat restaurant serving irresistible elevated comfort foods everyone enjoys. Our Flagship restaurant is now hiring so hurry as these positions fill fast.

Rise Woodfire now hiring positions for the following:

SOUS CHEF.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum five years experience working in a professional kitchen, including two years of management experience
-Experience with American and/or Woodfired Pizza
- Ability to Collaborate with ownership to evolve the comfort food concept that is anchored in American and Italian cooking.
-A firm understanding of kitchen sanitation practices and health department standards with valid food handlers card
-Strong organizational and time management skills, along with impeccable attention to detail
-A passion for elevating the craft and care for the final dish going to guests is a must. You are directly responsible for maintataining high standards of cooking and product we put out.
-Experience with inventory control and controlled food and labor costs
-Passion and understanding of the current local food scene
-A POSITIVE ATTITUDE and an outgoing personality that fits in with our team
-Solid references
