- Welcome every guest with a warm and genuine greeting, setting the tone for their dining experience.
- Manage reservations and walk-ins using the restaurants reservation system, ensuring accurate table assignments and flow.
- Escort guests to their tables with poise and attentiveness, introducing them to their server when appropriate.
- Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries, providing accurate information about the restaurant, menu, and policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and reception area at all times.
- Communicate with the Maitre d and Dining Room team to adjust seating arrangements and accommodate special requests or VIPs.
- Monitor the dining room and assist in pacing the flow of service to ensure an optimal guest experience.
- Assist with coordinating private events or large party reservations, ensuring seamless execution.
- Participate in pre-service briefings to stay informed about menu updates, special guests, and service priorities.
- Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues to the Maitre d or management when necessary.
- Support additional Dining Room projects as needed.
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00) plus tips
