Job Summary:

The Overnight Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations during overnight hours, ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the resorts cleanliness and service standards. This role supervises a small overnight team, addresses guest requests, and performs inspections and administrative duties related to the night shift. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Job Specifications:

Onsite: Black Desert Resort Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time / Overnight Shift Pay Rate: $21.00 $23.50/hour. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the overnight housekeeping team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring all duties are completed efficiently and to standard.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and employee facilities for cleanliness, order, and adherence to resort protocols.
  • Respond to and resolve guest service requests, complaints, or emergencies during the night shift.
  • Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals.
  • Maintain shift logs, incident reports, and communication with day shift managers for seamless transitions.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and security procedures at all times.
  • Provide hands-on support in deep cleaning, high-touch areas, and quick turnovers when necessary.
  • Train and coach overnight team members on procedures, service expectations, and safety protocols.
  • Verify and track supply levels, reporting restocking needs to inventory coordinator or day supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality operations, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, equipment use, and chemical safety.
  • Experience in a luxury or high-volume hospitality setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a small team with minimal direction.
  • Proficiency in using housekeeping software or task tracking systems (e.g., HotSOS, Nuvola).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
