Avenue Bread (James St.) Seeking Prep Cook
We are looking for someone who loves to cook, works well with others, and has restaurant experience to fill an immediate opening for a Prep Cook at our James St. location. The position would be approximately from 6am-2pm or 10am - 4pm include tasks such as creating soups daily, slicing meats and bread, creating dressing and sauces, and creating sandwiches for customers. Hours can range between 20 - 40 hours a week. We are a 7 day a week, fast-moving counter-service restaurant, so you must have restaurant experience and weekend availability to be considered for this position. Must have valid drivers license and be insurable in the state of Washington. Vehicle will be provided to drive commissary food items to other locations each day. In addition to the hourly wage, all of our employees receive pooled tips which equates to about $8+/hour.

- Tips pooled and split between front and back of house
- Prep experience required (1 year)
- Current Food Handlers Card required
- Drivers Lisence Required, Proof of Insurance, drivers abstract

- Punctual to shifts
- Positive attitude
- Able to follow recipes
- Slicing experience preferred
- Good driving record/must be insurable.
