Custodian (2 positions)

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team at Moody High School as a Custodian. This full-time position plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Maintain and restock supplies in restrooms and other facilities as needed.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for school events and activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• Report any repairs or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with outdoor maintenance tasks, such as trash collection and grounds upkeep, as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff members to promote a positive school environment.
• Participate in training and professional development as required.
