Job Summary:
The Receptionist will provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors while performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and route phone calls to appropriate personnel.
- Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for executives or managers.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Perform data entry and maintain filing systems.
- Address and resolve visitor or client inquiries and complaints.
- Provide information about the organization and its services as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and conferences.
- Assist with office supplies inventory and ordering.
- Support other administrative staff with various tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Education –
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
Competencies/Skills –
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability to change.
- Excellent PC skills including MS Office applications.
Experience –
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
