The General Maintenance will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repairs. It will be essential that the General Maintenance supports and integrates Sizemores core values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork into the daily performance of assigned responsibilities. Responsibilities: General repairs, installations, and minor renovations, often requiring a broad range of skills and tools. Basic Plumbing tasks like replacing broken fixtures and fixing leaky pipes. Carpentry and building: Repairing wooden structures and other carpentry tasks. Painting: May consist of painting walls, applying stains and handling other basic decorating tasks. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair tasks performed Tool Maintenance: Maintain and repair equipment and other mechanical systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment malfunctions and prolong equipment lifespan. Routine inspections: Regularly inspect buildings, systems, and equipment to identify potential issues. Drives a culture of constant improvement, identifying and implementing changes to increase productivity and efficiency of service. Enforces Sizemores policies and procedures as needed. Additional duties assigned, as necessary. Qualifications: Must be able to pass a drug test and background check Experience with a variety of hand and power tools is essential. Basic knowledge of trade: Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is often needed. Able to work with other maintenance team members, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth operations. Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor. Possess patience, tact, enthusiasm as well as diplomacy when dealing with any person no matter the circumstances. Possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in potentially stressful and time sensitive situations. Possess problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize. Ability to work with minimum supervision, read/comprehend detailed instructions and process information with accuracy and clarity. Communicate effectively both verbally and written.
