Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Full-time Day Housekeeper.
As a Housekeeper at MercyOne, you will perform a variety of major and routine cleaning throughout the interior of the hospital complex.
- Washes windows, walls, ceilings, light fixtures, cleans all horizontal and vertical surfaces.
- Analyzes floor conditions, determines proper cleaning method to ensure proper appearance.
- Operates vacuum.
- Dry mops and wet mops and spot cleans any type of floor.
- Coordinates all environmental services activity with the unit or department involved to minimize problems and ensure safety.
- Performs special isolation cleaning according to established procedures as required.
- Removes soiled linen from beds, washes beds, remakes beds with clean linen on patient room transfers and dismissals.
Schedule:
- Days 7:00 am 3:30 pm, rotating weekends and holidays.
General Requirements:
- Previous janitorial and cleaning experience preferred.
- Floor machine operation experience preferred.
Education:
- Completion of high school or GED is preferred but not required.
