PT Food Service Worker (Union Co.)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Position serves clients in Union County.
• Preparing and serving of meals at a congregate meal site.
• Ensure that all meals comply with temperature and dietary requirements.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the site, interacting with clientele, and assisting with special events and functions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited four year high school or GED supplemented with courses in commercial and/or industrial food preparation.
• Valid Tennessee Driver license.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Knowledge of food preparation practices and nutritional needs of the elderly; knowledge of food handling and acceptable personal hygiene practices for food services; or
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
