Overview

Responsible for the support of housekeeping operations by assisting with various tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the hotel. This opportunity is for a 2pm--10:30pm shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Clean and maintain all public areas in the guest room tower including: guest room corridors, elevators, stairwells, vending areas and laundry rooms.
  • Assist room attendants in stripping linen from guest rooms and take soiled linen to the laundry room. Distribute clean linen and stock the storeroom as needed.
  • Assist the room attendants with supplies needed for guest rooms such as amenities, glassware, and delivery cribs and rollaways.
  • Assist in receiving shipment of products for the housekeeping department. Put away stock and keep the storeroom areas clean and organized.
  • Empty trash and take to dumpster.
  • Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times.
  • Performs all other duties as deemed necessary by management.


Qualifications

  • Able to carry and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked.
