Concessions Cook

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for seasonal Cooks to join our team at Little League World Series in S. Williamsport, Pennsylvania. As a Cook, you will partake in important food preparation for guest orders and communicate with serving team members. This job is a Temporary Position that will work a schedule from August 13th August 24th, 2024.

Shift times do vary, but tentatively are from 10am 3pm and 3pm 9pm.

• Prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained, food is stored correctly, the freshness and quality of all menu items, and packages all products to proper specifications
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
• Use a flat top grill and deep fryers to cook foods like hot dogs, burgers and chicken tenders
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory

• At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house food service position
• No high school diploma or GED required

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat
• Standing and walking for the entire length of shift in moderate to high noise levels
• Manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids and operate kitchen equipment
