Job DetailsPopina NYC is looking for dedicated and experienced Prep Cooks to join our team! We are looking for Full-Time and Part-time. Seasonal prep also considered.

Experience & Qualifications:
2 years of prep experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.
Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude.
Open availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and stooping.
Ability to remain positive and productive in a potentially hot or cold work environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies, ensuring proper inventory control.
Cook and prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff according to the Popina's Recipe Book, ensuring food quality and time standards are always met.
Maintain a high level of communication, ability to multi-task, and ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
Answer, report to, and follow instructions and direction from Sous Chef, CDC, or other leadership.
Properly clean and break down station at the end of service, ensuring all food handling and food storage standards are met.
Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations at all times.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, leadership, and vendors.
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $24.00)
