Dordlofva is a local family-owned welcoming small business, community-focused artisan caf known for quality local custom roasted coffee, handcrafted drinks, and handcrafted pastries prepared and baked on site. We take pride in offering exceptional service, delicious beverages and pastries made with care. We are in the bustling heart of the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, situated among other small businesses (bookstore, record store, tattoo shop).

Position Summary:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, willing to learn, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks.
Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe and workstations.
Operate the POS system and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
Follow health and safety regulations and cafe procedures
Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
Support fellow team members during busy hours and be able to also work independently when required.

Requirements:
1 - 2 years previous barista experience in a high-volume cafe.
Proficiency in preparing a wide range of coffee and espresso drinks.
Manually dialing-in espresso
Excellent customer service skills, including greeting customers, answering questions and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Passionate about coffee and eager to learn.
