Janitor

Hours- Monday Friday 3:30pm-10pm

Reports to:

Production Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for the cleaning, organizing, sanitizing, and regular upkeep of the facility grounds.

Qualifications:

1.

Must be detail oriented and well organized

2.

Must be a self-motivator/initiator, work independently, and with little supervision

3.

Must be able to change task and prioritize and re-prioritize frequently.

4.

Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull, and lift(up to 50lbs.).

5.

Must be able to climb stairs and/or ladder

6.

Must have good communication skills and be able to work with other departments

7.

Must work well in a team oriented and co-operative environment

8.

Able to periodically work in an uncontrolled temperature environment of 40 degrees Fahrenheit up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit

Primary Duties:

1.

Cleaning of facility floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming if needed.

2.

Service, clean and supply restrooms within the plant facility

3.

Notify managers concerning the major repairs or damages to the facility.

4.

Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintain and work with cleaning products.

5.

Clean indoor and outdoor windows and doors and mirrors

6.

Dust and wipe down walls (monthly) within the facility

7.

Clean and disinfect employee common areas and workstations as needed

8.

Clean and or pick up trash from plant yard, parking lot area and around the picnic tables as needed

9.

Pick-up and dispose of trash containers within the facility

10.

Assist with preparations for special events (ex. Audits, facility tours, employee events, set-up, and clean-up.)
