Overnight Baker

The Market in the Square is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our Bakery department as an Overnight Baker.

Responsibilities:

+ Produce various baked goods by following set recipes and department standards

+ Mix, measure, cut, roll, press, proof, bake, fry, fill and frost bakery products as necessary

+ Maintain clean, safe and sanitary bakery area and equipment

+ Ensure stocking and rotation of all bakery products and supplies

+ Utilize equipment, such as ovens, mixers, sheeters, fryers, scales, slicers and wrappers

Physical Requirements:

+ Requires standing, walking, bending, climbing throughout the entire workday

+ The ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs

+ Weekend and holiday work will be required; flexible hours

Education and Work Experience:

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures

+ Repetitive arm and hand movements; bending, carrying, and lifting

+ Requires transferring product either horizontally or vertically of up to 50 pounds

+ Weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required; flexible store assignments and hours
