Sugar Bowl Resort is seeking an experienced Journeyman Maintenance Technician to join our Resort Maintenance team. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring the resorts buildings, systems, and infrastructure remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. Ideal candidates are skilled in multiple trades and thrive in a dynamic and unique resort environment.
Who you are
- Minimum 2- 4 years of experience in general building maintenance, repair, and systems troubleshooting
- Basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills - certifications required
- Ability to be lead technician for project work
- Ability to act as lead technician in the event the department manager is not available
- Familiarity with safety protocols, building codes, and OSHA regulations
- Experience in hospitality, resort, or commercial property maintenance - preferred
- Ability to start all APUs in village homes
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Train others in skilled work
- Basic snow removal knowledge (shoveling required)
- Ability to operate over-the-snow equipment should be above average
