Job Summary:
As a Dishwasher, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and smooth operation of our kitchen. You will be responsible for washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and cooking tools, ensuring they are readily available for the kitchen staff and service team. Your attention to detail, commitment to hygiene, and ability to work efficiently as part of a team will contribute to the overall safety and satisfaction of our customers. You will also support the kitchen by maintaining organized work areas, handling cleaning chemicals safely, and adhering to food safety standards at all times. A passion for cleanliness and excellence is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of our customers by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness for all plates, glasses, and utensils
- Support restaurant operations by ensuring a steady supply of clean kitchenware, including utensils and cooking tools, when needed
- Ensure dishes, glasses, and utensils are readily available at designated stations and replenished in a timely manner
- Work effectively with the team and assist with additional tasks as requested by management
- Regularly check and maintain proper chemical levels in dishwashing equipment
- Perform routine tests to confirm chemicals are correctly dosed in the dishwasher
- Keep your work area organized and hygienic at all times
- Wash hands every time you leave the kitchen and before beginning any tasks
- Maintain a neat and clean uniform, adhering to cleanliness standards
- Maintain a professional and tidy appearance at all times
- If you have a contagious illness, avoid food handling and immediately inform the Kitchen Manager to determine the appropriate next steps
Job Requirements:
