Salary Range:
$13.00 To $13.00 Hourly
Assist Guest Room Attendants so they may perform their daily cleaning of a minimum of sixteen (16) Guest Rooms in the allotted amount of time.
Specific and Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries linens to the GRA carts
Replenish and/or replace supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies, TV Guide, cable movie card, casino information flyers, menu, matches, bibles, and phone books on the GRA carts
Renders personal assistance to the guests
Moves furniture, hangs drapes, and rolls carpets
Vacuums/shampoos rugs/carpets in guest rooms and public access hallways
Dusts and/or cleans items located in the elevator lobby on each floor of the hotel
Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork
Washes windows, door panels, and sills
Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays
Replenishes bathroom supplies including but not limited to toilet paper, Kleenex, soap, shampoo and lotion
Helps to insure all items in room are in working order including but not limited to the television, lights, air conditioning unit, telephone, alarm clock, drapes and curtains and the luggage rack
Biohazard clean-up as needed
Stocks linens and keeps area around housekeeping clean
Performs the duties of a GRA as needed
Interacts with Family Members, Friends and Vendors in a professional and upbeat manner
Maintain an open line of communication with Supervisors and Managers concerning all Guest Services related issues, problems and/or solutions
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with fellow Family Members and Vendors
Ability to accept performance feedback in professional manner
Regular attendance to all scheduled shift is considered an essential function of the job
Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job

Education and/or Experience:
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
This is a trainable position. No previous experience required

Cleaning chemicals, vacuum, carpet and upholstery cleaners, water extractor
