Overview

Join our Culinary team as a Dishwasher with our Beavercreek Facility!

Community First is looking for a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team at our Beavercreek location. This role is essential to maintaining kitchen cleanliness, supporting the Chef, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and dining experience for our residents.

Schedule: 30 Hours per week, MUST be able to work 11:30am to 7:30pm Thursday and Friday

Position Responsibilities:

Assist the Chef with meal preparation and kitchen tasks as needed.

Ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.

Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing, drying, and storing all dishes and utensils in a timely manner.

Support kitchen staff in maintaining food quality and following all food safety guidelines.

Enhance the dining experience by ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are kept in good working condition.

Job Requirements:

Weekend availability is a must to meet the needs of the kitchen schedule.

Flexible schedule (PRN) to accommodate varying shifts.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay:

Up to $14.50 depending on years of working experience

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

Load, run, and unload the dish machine efficiently to ensure a continuous supply of clean dishes.

Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware, including plates, utensils, pots, pans, and trays.

Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure proper sanitization and hygiene during the wash cycle.

Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen to ensure smooth operations.

Clean food preparation and production areas regularly, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and free of debris.

Stock supplies such as food, utensils, and other kitchen items in serving stations, storage areas, and refrigerators as needed.

Sweep, mop, and empty garbage to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Maintain the overall cleanliness and safety of the kitchen by following health and safety standards.

Perform all other duties as assigned or appropriate to the position.

Weekend availability is required to meet the needs of the kitchen schedule.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED preferred but not required
