We are hiring a part / full time bartender to join the ever growing team at Keys & Heels.

Keys & Heels is an ambient cocktail lounge hidden behind the frontage of a rundown NY shoe repair shop. It is currently open Wednesdays to Saturday evening to the public, and other days for private events. Wednesday & Thursday we are open to the public 6pm-1am, and Friday & Saturday 6pm-2am. Other days and shifts are as per event.

MUST have high demand bartending experience, a competent knowledge of cocktails, and be good at working a high energy, lively place and enjoy the dynamic of bar interactions. Vibe and professionalism are super important to us, so good energy, an upbeat team spirit, and a someone that takes pride in hospitality and their work is what we are looking for!

Your role will be to work the bar efficiently with a playful and energetic spirit, sometimes working along side another bar tender & bar back. You will engage with bar side clients as well as fulfill orders from the floor and assist the service team, as well as closely monitoring the quality and consistency of your beverages. We are looking for someone that takes pride in their skillset and the standards they serve!
On opening or closing shifts, you will be required to set up and break down the bar at the beginning or end of the night/event.

You will work closely with ownership and our General Manager to maintain the standards of our beverages, as well as honing, curating and improving on our offering and experience.

The responsibilities include:

  • Creating a welcoming first and last impression!
  • Greeting guests in a cheerful, warm, and engaging way.
  • Producing the menu cocktails to exact requirements, monitoring the standards, and working in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Producing off menu cocktails to clients request, with the same exacting high standards.
  • Supporting your team and their needs from the bar.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient bar.
  • Setting up your bar and breaking it down again.

Pay rate: NY state minimum wage (tipped credit) as per NY state labor law. + Tips / shared tip pool.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($10.65 - $16.00) plus tips
