Laurel Bakery is the newest venture by Redwood Hospitality, the esteemed group behind the Michelin-Starred Oxalis and the celebrated Place des Fetes. Our vision is to create a landmark destination for artisanal baked goods, including a premium selection of viennoiserie, artisanal breads, and exceptional coffee. Our unique space combines a bustling production area with a cozy retail setting, serving both our local community and our forthcoming cafe, among other exciting projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 2-4 years of experience in pastry or baking.
  • Strong foundation in French pastry
  • Production lamination experience
  • Solid foundation in bread making and baking principles.
  • Knowledge of lamination techniques and viennoiserie production.
  • Familiarity with commercial baking equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Eagerness to learn and replicate recipes with precision.
  • Strong team player with a receptive attitude towards feedback.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards and compliance with NYC DOH regulations.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing over 50 pounds and to stand for extended periods (up to 9 hours).

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $22.00)
