Job Details Major Food Group is hiring experienced Captain Assistants to join our team at Carbone Vino! Vino is a new concept from Major Food Group celebrating timeless artisanship and the most coveted wines of Italy complete with a thousand bottle wine cellar. The menu features an extensive selection of handmade pastas, Sicilian pizzas, signature entrees like spicy rigatoni and friend veal chop prepared your way, and fresh gelato served table-side. We are hiring passionate and dedicated individuals to join our growing Miami teams.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivers food from kitchen and delivers to guests in an accurate and timely manner
- Understands all menu offerings, food descriptions and ingredients and is able to verbalize to guests
- Set tables appropriately to ensure guests have everything needed at each stage of service
- Ensure expo and service station areas are organized and maintained
- Maintains cleanliness of tables between courses and resets tables upon completion of meal
- Assists front-of-house team with other duties as required or assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years working in a high volume, upscale restaurant preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
