Overview

A warm and energetic family on the Upper East Side is seeking a professional, proactive, and detail-oriented full-time Housekeeper to manage and maintain the cleanliness and organization of their four-story townhouse. This is a high-trust role for a confident, capable individual who can take ownership of the households upkeep and contribute positively to the overall home environment.

The ideal candidate will take pride in creating a spotless, well-functioning home and will also enjoy supporting a loving family. This is an opportunity to work with a respectful, active household who truly values a strong, long-term partnership with their housekeeper.

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the home to a high standard (general tidying, cleaning surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, etc.)
  • Deep cleaning on a rotating schedule
  • Laundry and wardrobe care, including fabric-specific treatment and seasonal closet rotation
  • Pet care for a friendly 4-year-old Cavapoo (daily walks, feeding, love and attention, and occasional grooming appointments)
  • Bed-making and linen changes
  • Organize household spaces (pantry, linen closets, etc.)
  • As needed household errands, e.g dry cleaning drop off/pick-up, light grocery shopping
  • Maintain household inventory and ensure home is stocked with essentials
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail and packages
  • Vendor management (repairs, maintenance, deliveries, etc.)
  • Serve as an extra set of hands with three children (ages 10, 12, and 14), offering presence, structure, and occasional supervision when needed
Qualifications
  • Highly organized, proactive, and confident managing a household independently
  • Energetic and physically fitcomfortable navigating stairs throughout the day
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of the familys privacy
  • Experienced with fine laundry, high-end furnishings, and luxury finishes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with both adults and children
  • Comfortable around pets and children; contributes to a warm, upbeat household dynamic
  • Flexible, intuitive, and skilled at anticipating household needs
Requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar high-end household role
  • No driving or travel required
  • Must be comfortable around dogs and older children
  • Light ironing or mending may be occasionally requested
Salary and Benefits
  • $45/hr
