Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. - Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
- Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events
- Responding, recording, checking and updating reservations.
- Assign guests to tables and section by completing the seating chart.
- Assisting in scheduling Servers, Buspersons and Host/ess to ensure adequate staffing.
- Assigning stations to all Servers and Buspersons.
- Knowledge of the menu and its items including daily or weekly specials.
- Must deliver ACES Guest Service to every guest during every interaction
- Committed to consistently delivering the highest quality of food & service to local and international guests in order to ensure repeat visits.
- Demonstrate and exhibit characteristics and behavior in accordance with Property and Departmental Service Guarantees, and Property Core Values.
- Maintains professional grooming and appearance and acts as a role model according to established grooming and appearance policy.
- Inform the kitchen staff of the number of reservations and any details for that evening (birthday cakes, dietary requests, special parties booked, trophy racesetc.).
- Greeting and seating guests in accordance with proper server rotation. Thanking and well wishing to all guests as they depart.
- Responding to and assisting in resolving all guest complaints or problems.
- Maintaining a high level of knowledge of the Micros POS system, opening and closing procedures and principles of service.
- Complete any task assigned by room manager, supervisor, or room chef.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Applicant must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to apply. Possess a High School diploma; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must qualify for the Massachusetts Gaming Commission license.Must be able to obtain proper Food Handler Certification.Must be TIPS certified.
