Role
The Chef Concierge is responsible for leading the concierge team with a strong sense of responsibility, resourcefulness, and professionalism to ensure exceptional service at all times. This role involves coordinating guest requests with designated vendors, fulfilling special requests, and taking a hands-on approach to daily operations and team management. The Chef Concierge anticipates the needs of guests, members and residents and directs the team to deliver unique and high-quality experiences and continuously monitors performance to ensure all procedures align with departmental standards.

This position has an annual compensation range of $110,000 - $120,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, members and residents, providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and dining options.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, members, residents, anticipating their needs and preferences to provide personalized service.
• Ensure all requests and inquiries from guests, members and residents are handled promptly and professionally, always maintaining the highest standards of service.
• Address complaints and concerns from guests, members and residents in a timely and effective manner, finding appropriate solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Lead and manage the concierge team, including scheduling and performance management.
• Implement ongoing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the concierge team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local vendors and service providers to fulfill guest requests efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Process and notify guests, members and residents of receipt of mail and messages.
• Keep accurate records of all arrangements made.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a concierge role, with at least 2 years in leadership capacity.
• Membership in Les Clefs dOr is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Must be able to read and write in English to facilitate the communication process.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest service.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods during daily operations.
• Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
