SCOPE:
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Concierge Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our patients receive the highest level of service and support. The Concierge Liaison/Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, facilitating a seamless healthcare experience and enhancing patient satisfaction.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Patient Engagement:
- Greeting patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Serve as the primary contact for patient inquiries and support.
- Facilitate communication between patients, medical staff, and administration.
- Coordination and Scheduling.
- Manage appointment schedules and coordinate follow-up visits.
- Assist patients in understanding their treatment plans and next steps.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
Patient Advocacy:
- Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
- Provide information on healthcare services, insurance, and billing processes.
- Assist patients with navigating the healthcare system and accessing resources.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of patient information materials.
- Support the administrative team with various tasks as needed.
Experience Enhancement:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the patient’s experience.
- Gather patient feedback and work with the team to improve service delivery.
- Organize and oversee patient appreciation events and programs.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or patient liaison role, preferably in a medical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Empathetic, patient-focused approach with a strong service orientation.
