Housekeeping Aide

Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks and light maintenance repairs to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas of the hospital.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education: High school or equivalent

Minimum Experience: On-the-job training

Physical Demands: Frequent prolonged standing/walking

Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling,

crouching

Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs)

Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts heavy equipment/supplies

Working Conditions: Exposed to housekeeping/cleaning agents/chemicals

Works in precarious or high locations (ladders,

scaffolding)
