Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various equipment and machinery within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance practices. The Maintenance Mechanic will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Location: Orange County, CA
Shift: Monday - Friday , 8:00am - 5:00pm. Start time may shift due to business needs. OT as needed.
Type: 6-Month Contract to Hire Opportunity
Pay: $30.00/hr. - $35.00/hr. (depending on experience)
Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize precision measuring instruments, including ohmmeters, to analyze and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Perform hydraulic system repairs and maintenance as needed.
Execute field service tasks, addressing mechanical issues at various locations as required.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with electrical systems, hydraulics, and precision measuring instruments is essential.
Ability to analyze mechanical issues effectively and implement appropriate solutions.
Experience with field service operations is a plus.
Knowledge of CMMS software is advantageous but not mandatory.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
