Housekeeper for HNW household

Housekeeper Location: San Francisco and Palo Alto Job Type: Part time/ Live out Reports To: Estate Manager / Principal Job Summary: A high-end private residence is seeking an experienced and meticulous Housekeeper to provide top-tier cleaning and organizational support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury home care, a keen eye for detail, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed daily cleaning and upkeep of all interior spaces, including living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and formal rooms Care for high-end furnishings, finishes, antiques, and artwork using appropriate methods and products Maintain polished presentation of all rooms at all times, including bed-making with hospital corners, proper linen folding, and towel display Manage laundry including delicate fabric care, hand-washing, ironing, and wardrobe organization Assist with packing and unpacking for travel, wardrobe rotation, and closet organization Monitor and restock household supplies. Follow strict protocols for confidentiality, security, and professional boundaries Work closely with other household staff (e.g., chefs, nannies, house managers) to ensure seamless household operations Handle occasional special tasks such as polishing silver, flower arranging, and table setting for formal occasions Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a high-end or formal private household Expertise in luxury cleaning techniques, fine laundry care, and proper use of high-end cleaning products Impeccable attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate household needs Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy and confidentiality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation preferred. Working Conditions: Physically demanding role: prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting Includes travel or support at additional residences A professional appearance is expected at all times Compensation: Hourly $30-$40/- an hour depending on experience.
