Job Description

We are seeking a general cleaner to work in our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. As a General Cleaner you will be responsible for:

Cleaninglint, dust, oil, and grease from machines, overhead pipes, and other production equipment

Cleaningfloors with an electric floor scrubber and applying floor drier. Dust mopping and wet mopping floor areas

Pickingup reusable scrap for salvage and storing in containers

Cleaningrooms, hallways, corridors, locker rooms and other work areas

Washingwindows, door panels, and sills

Emptyingwastebaskets in breakrooms, lab, office and production areas.Placingtrash and waste in waste compactor

Pickingup refuse from plant grounds and maintaining area by cutting grass or shovelingsnow if necessary

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Previous cleaning experience in a manufacturing environment a plus

Excellent organizational skills

Be highly responsible and reliable

Be capableof completing multiple tasks

Maintain good attendance
