Job Description:
Deliver culinary excellence behind the scenes! As Sous Chef at UCF, you will support the Executive Chef and kitchen leadership team in executing high-quality food service. Youll help manage production, maintain food safety standards, and lead daily prep and service operations with efficiency and passion.
Qualifications:
Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on experience
35 years of professional kitchen experience
Strong grasp of kitchen procedures, food safety, and sanitation
Leadership capabilities with the ability to train and motivate teams
Proficient in recipe execution and time management in a high-volume setting
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise daily prep and line operations
Monitor food production, quality, and portion control
Support execution of catered events and meal services
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and proper food storage
Train and guide culinary staff in Levy standards
Collaborate with senior chefs on menu and prep
