JOB SUMMARY:
Cleans andmaintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness ofthe same on a daily basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Thisjob description should not be interpreted as all inclusive. It is intended to identify the essentialfunctions and requirements of this position. The incumbents may be requested to perform job-related responsibilitiesand tasks other than those stated in this job description.
Cleans andsanitizes bathrooms; cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors, andreplenishes supplies.
Sweeps, vacuums,mops and waxes floors; sweeps sidewalks.
Cleans windows;dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures.
Cleans kitchenand dining area; washes dishes.
Empties trashcans regularly; collects trash from grounds.
Assists insetting up meeting rooms; sets up tables and chairs.
Assists inmonitoring light fixtures to ensure all light bulbs are in working order;replaces light bulbs as necessary.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs otherrelated work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
No formaleducation or experience required,
six monthsexperience performing general housekeeping duties,
or
any equivalentcombination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge,skills, and abilities.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
None.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability toperform general maintenance and cleaning activities for buildings and grounds.
Ability tofollow instructions and work independently.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Ability to meetattendance requirements.
Ability to readand communicate the English language.
Ability to exertthe physical energy required to performing housekeeping and minor maintenance work.
Ability toperform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work isperformed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoortemperatures, dirt and dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors.
