Full time day shift available for custodial cleaning in a commercial building located at Austin Drive, Charlottesville, VA. Monday - Friday: 10 am to 6:30 pm. $18/hour. Must have and show proof of authorization to legally work in the US and clean background/drug check . Must be 18+ years old and able to lift up to 25 pounds . Pay is only by direct deposit 2 times per month.
Job Position Description: This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our customers buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Duties include, but not limited to:

• Overall duties include removing debris, cardboard boxes, and maintaining common space areas
• Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, dusting, window cleaning, clean and maintain restrooms
• Clean all common space areas including kitchen, cafeteria, lobby and break room
• Place safety hazard signs in the building including wet floor signs as necessary
• Monitor, clean, service and restock bathrooms
• Respond immediately to any major spills or other cleaning crisis

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
• Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect
