Job Details We are seeking a passionate and experienced Server Assistant Trainer to help us elevate the performance and consistency of our team! The Server Assistant Trainer will be responsible for onboarding new Server Assistants, maintaining training programs, and reinforcing service standards and operational procedures. This role is crucial in developing a team that delivers excellent guest experiences and supports the company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Development

  • Conduct hands-on training for front-of-house team members.
  • Contribute to onboarding programs for new hires, including orientation and job-specific training.

  • Contributes to training materials (manuals, checklists, etc).
  • Conduct periodic refresher training sessions and drills.

  • Monitor training progress and provide coaching and feedback.

Operational Standards

  • Ensure consistency in service throughout the dining room.

  • Assist managers in rolling out new menu items, promotions, or procedures.

  • Support team performance evaluations during and after training periods by providing direct feedback to FOH managers.

Culture & Leadership

  • Model company values and lead by example.

  • Help instill a positive, guest-focused culture.

  • Provide leadership training and mentoring to up-and-coming team members

Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate training effectiveness through observation, team feedback, and performance metrics.

  • Identify skills gaps and recommend targeted learning solutions.

  • Collaborate with management to update training materials and strategies as needed.

Qualifications :
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of FOH and BOH operations.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Server Assistant in excellent standing at a fine dining restaurant

Work Environment:
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends.
  • Hands-on role requiring time on at the restaurant and during service
Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $20.00)
