Museum Custodian

This role spends the majority of the day:

• Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies for all public and employee spaces and restrooms on The Ringling's expansive 66 acre property with a focus on guest experience.
• Completing additional tasks as identified or as instructed by supervisor. Drives custodial golf carts to deliver supplies, carry equipment, and remove trash/recycling.

As needed this role:

• Provides information to visitors and responds to questions.
• Performs custodial maintenance projects.
• Performs other duties and assists with special events as assigned.

• 9th grade education or higher.
• Valid driver's license or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods, bend/stoop, work with chemicals, and lift up to 45 lbs. (water cooler bottles).

Working Hours : Thursday - Monday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM with a half hour meal period.

• Every seven weeks, this role will be required to work Thursday - Monday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM to provide custodial services to the Center for Performing Arts (located on the Ringling Campus).

Please note that this role may be required to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, special events, and holidays based on the needs of The Ringling.
