The Country Inn & Suites is seeking an energetic and detail oriented full time Room Attendant who is looking to be a part of our fun and dynamic work environment.

Compensation starts at $20.00/hour, with benefits and potential for growth into Supervisor role. Room Attendants are an essential part of our hotel team. In addition to stripping, cleaning and servicing guestrooms, public spaces, and laundry facilities, Room Attendants help build and maintain the look and image of the hotel.

Room Attendant will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms daily in accordance with Country Inn & Suites standards. Specifically, Room Attendants will be entrusted with the below job responsibilities.

• Prior Room Attendant experience preferred
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)

Responsibilities:

• Prepares bed and bath linens
• Strips, cleans, and straightens rooms
• Displays and replaces amenities and promotional materials
• Remove trash, soiled linen, etc. and take to appropriate area for pick up
• Maintains supplies necessary to clean rooms efficiently
• Utilize the proper cleaning methods to prevent injury
• Keeps supply cart stocked
• Laundry, pressing and folding, towels, linen, etc.
• Report deficiencies in guest rooms and on guest floors to the housekeeping/engineering management team
• Ensure cleanliness of guest room hallways, elevators, public areas and service corridors in accordance with hotel standards
• Inventory and maintain the cleanliness of the linen closets
• Project an image of professionalism, friendliness and willingness to provide personalized service to our guests
• Set, stock, and maintain guestrooms and spaces in line with brand standards
• Adhere to the hotel's lost and found policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the US and possess all necessary documents listed on I-9 and verified through E-Verify.
• Ideal candidate will have experience working in a hotel housekeeping environment that provides a superior level of guest service and professionalism
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining a close attention to detail
• Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with department managers, team members and guests
• Must possess a strong team spirit
• Maintain high energy for long periods of time

Physical Demands:

• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements
• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 70 pounds on an ongoing basis
• Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist on an ongoing basis
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds

La persona en este puesto sera responsable de limpiar y preparar las habitaciones diariamente de acuerdo con los estandares de Country Inn & Suites. Especificamente, las Camareras/os de Piso tendran las siguientes responsabilidades:

• Se prefiere experiencia previa de servicios de limpieza
• Debe ser elegible para trabajar en los U.S. (E-Verify)

Responsabilidades:

• Preparar ropa de cama y toallas
• Quitar sabanas, limpiar y organizar las habitaciones
• Colocar y reponer amenidades y materiales promocionales
• Retirar basura y ropa sucia, y llevarla al area correspondiente
• Mantener los suministros necesarios para limpiar de manera eficiente
• Utilizar metodos de limpieza adecuados para prevenir lesiones
• Mantener el carro de suministros abastecido
• Lavar, planchar y doblar toallas, sabanas, etc.
• Reportar deficiencias en habitaciones o pisos al equipo de limpieza/mantenimiento
• Asegurar la limpieza de pasillos, ascensores, areas publicas y pasillos de servicio segun los estandares del hotel
• Hacer inventario y mantener limpios los armarios de ropa blanca
• Proyectar una imagen profesional, amable y con disposicion para ofrecer un servicio personalizado a los huespedes
• Preparar, abastecer y mantener habitaciones y areas comunes segun los estandares de la marca
• Cumplir con las politicas y procedimientos del hotel respecto a objetos perdidos

Requisitos:

• Ser elegible para trabajar en los U.S.A. y poseer todos los documentos requeridos en el formulario I-9, verificados mediante E-Verify
• Experiencia previa en limpieza en hotel con alto nivel de servicio al huesped y profesionalismo (deseable)
• Capacidad para trabajar rapidamente con atencion al detalle
• Habilidad para manejar multiples tareas a la vez
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicacion e interpersonales
• Capacidad para comunicarse eficazmente con gerentes, companeros de equipo y huespedes
• Espiritu de trabajo en equipo
• Capacidad de mantener alta energia durante periodos prolongados

• Realizar movimientos repetitivos con manos y brazos
• Capacidad para levantar, empujar o jalar hasta 70 libras (31.7 kg) de forma continua

• Levantar ocasionalmente hasta 50 libras (22.7 kg)
