HIRING INDUSTRIAL JANITORS - MULTIPLE POSITIONS OPEN 1st & 2nd Shift Pay $17-18/hr Hiawatha & Cedar Rapids, IA Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team at a manufacturing facility, working the morning shift from 7am to 3:30pm. This role is essential in ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across production areas, restrooms, break rooms, and offices before operations begin each day. Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning of production areas, restrooms, break rooms, and offices before operations begin. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of industrial waste according to safety protocols. Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies such as soap and paper towels as needed. Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers. Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the facilities team. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. Essential Skills Prior janitorial or custodial experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
